Do you offer private tuition?
Yes, we do one to one or group tailor made KFF sessions. see private tuition>>

We are willing to travel to anywhere in London convenient to your location for one to one or group tuition. For workshops KFF will travel to anywhere in the UK.

 

How long do I need to train?
Experience has shown us that a minimum of one and half hour per lesson twice a week are required in order to see best results and our training packages are designed with your preferences and interests in mind. You also need to practice at home if you wish to improve more quickly.

 

Do I need to have experience or knowledge in martial arts?
No, all you need is dedication and willingness to learn.
Members of Kung Fu Fitness are all very different, ranging from people who have no previous martial art training to the discerning martial artist, coming from martial arts backgrounds like Karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and different Kung Fu styles.

What clothes and shoes should I wear for training?

You can wear any sports clothes that you will feel comfortable in when exercising. When you decide to join you need to wear KFF Club t-shirt. See KFF club t-shirts>>

 

I don’t want to learn martial art forms; I just want to learn more practical self-defence, can I?
Absolutely, that’s why we do tailor made Kung Fu Fitness one-to-one lessons, often to teach basic self-defence techniques that apply to everyday life situations. These lessons are arranged with your preferences and interests in mind.

What kind of styles do you teach?
At Kung Fu Fitness, we teach a variety of styles including Mixed Martial Arts, Burmese Kick boxing, Bando and various styles of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, street fighting, Yoga or a combination of all these styles.

Do you teach weapons?
Yes, we do such as knife, sword, short stick, long stick and firearm defences.

My friend told me Kung Fu Fitness is not a sport is it true?
Depends on what you want to learn and how you define sport, that's why we do tailor made lessons for fitness, for combat or both.


I am not a student, can I join?
Yes, you can. KFF open to everyone, we have student, banker, lawyer, police and all walk of life. KFF members do share similarities, most notably a dedication to learning an effective self defence techniques and improve fitness in a friendly environment.


Can I start anytime?
Yes you can. We have enough instructors and assistant instructors to help people with all levels of ability and fitness. Our classes are friendly and welcoming to new students.


Can I watch a class first before starting?
Yes, you can watch a class first before participating so that you can get an appreciation of the overall class. If you like what you see and want to give it a go, you can join the following week.

Why should I join Kung Fu Fitness?

Because of three E: Easy, Effective and Efficient.

Do you offer grading?

KFF offer Combat Bando Grading Syllabus and instructor training.

Do you teach Kung Fu Fitness to children?

Yes, we do, from the age of five and above.

How safe is Kung Fu Fitness lesson?
At Kung Fu Fitness, we instill the three safeties of training:
1. Safety for yourself
2. Safety for others around you
3. Safety for the partner with whom you are training
Any unsafe behaviour or situation should not and will not be tolerated.

Note: Have nothing to eat in the two hours before lessons!
If you are in doubt about your medical fitness, please consult your doctor first.
